It would seem like we're living in the surreal life, if you look at the overwhelming amount of reactionary coverage of the Trump transition and the feelings of anger, despair, and fear of the future on social media.
Even from those who support Trump, you don't see a strong sense of jubilation, overconfidence, or even condescension. The most you may see is them calling out liberals as crybabies, a strange thing in itself, considering all of the cries of woe that they've been mewling for the past eight years. Even with that, they're pretty much just echoing the message of their new, fearless leader. They're not even coming up with their own original material.....And that's scary, because it's a telltale sign of lacking in critical, independent thinking.
If you'll simply regurgitate the catch phrases, and simply clean, rinse, and repeat all of the propaganda, then soon enough, you'll be practicing the new salute and programming it into your children.
We always tend to say that we should always move forward, never backwards, but in this case, we are caught in a strange paradox.....because moving forward would really be more like going back to the future
So we'll have to do our best to change the course of the reality that we're facing in the dawn of this new day......and get it back to the timeline that we were on
If not, then who knows how long it will be before we find it again..........if ever.............
