Drinking On a Leash

Should being met with an open container of alcohol be a crime? If you're walking around with a Pabst and you're stopped by cops, and forced to pay a fine for almost two hundred dollars...is that fair punishment? Is it supposed to teach me a lesson? Is it actually just revenue?  Is the boss twisting your arm to fill your quota? Do you need to go and twist the arms of people minding their own business? Are there not enough criminals?

If you're not a criminal, the state will turn you into one, but they know it's law abiding citizens and good natured people who willingly pay these fines, comply and don't ask these questions. For the sake of argument, maybe a decent person wouldn't be walking around with a beer.  Did you help make anyone safe by making somene pour out a beer and dispose of the can? It's bad enough we're living with countless, endless, inevitable and MANDATORY taxes. You're just power generators for a machine that oppresses all of us, but they've somehow convinced 90% of us to turn a blind eye. You view yourselves as sheep dogs and we're the stupid bad sheep.  Well, BAH!! I should be allowed to enjoy a PBR on the boardwalk of Asbury Park, but I get it.  If you allow me to do it, then the streets are all of a sudden dangerous, because everybody will do it.  You're right.  This is Asbury Park, not Bourbon Street. My point is, it was punishment enough taking the beer away.  If you're going to charge me a buck fitty for a fucking PABST BLUE RIBBON, you should at least let me finish it. NOPE! Must exercise and overexert power.  All in the name of safety?

There's nothing safe about police or the state.  Saying that government provides safety is the biggest lie of our lifetime.  Without a doubt regulations and laws cripple the public forcing us to bend at our knees to benefit nobody but the powers that be.  We're under this illusion that we ourselves can't be trusted.  So, we put strangers in charge...actually that's another fraud.  This idea that "we put others in power." They've seized it since the beginning. Must've been born and raised into it, bred to be, and chosen amongst themselves. What it all boils down to is this: there is no guranteed safety. Coercion does not provide safety.  Force does not equate to love. Care for one another.  Protect yourselves! Open  your eyes and realize!
